Privacy Policy
This policy describes how the iPhone app House Tip Sheet (bundle ID com.jmcomfp.housetipsheet) handles information. House Tip Sheet is an on-device calculator for restaurant house-rule tip closeouts. It is not an account-based cloud service, and it is not legal, tax, or payroll software.
What stays on your iPhone
House rules, crew names, shift inputs, saved tip sheets, and the disclaimer acknowledgment are stored only on your device. We do not sync this data to our servers, and we do not operate a House Tip Sheet cloud account.
You can delete a saved shift or a house rule in the app. Uninstalling the app removes local House Tip Sheet data on that iPhone.
If you back up this iPhone with Finder or iCloud Backup, Apple may include the app’s local files in that backup. That is Apple’s device backup, not a House Tip Sheet account or cloud sync.
What we do not do
- No advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK in this version.
- No tracking across other companies’ apps or websites.
- No selling of personal data.
- We do not create an account for you and we do not use Sign in with Apple.
- The app does not request access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.
Sharing a tip sheet
Share text (free) and PDF export (Pro) use the iOS share sheet. You choose the destination (Messages, Mail, Files, and so on). House Tip Sheet does not receive a copy of that share and does not upload the tip sheet to our servers.
Purchases
You can run closeouts without buying. The optional one-time Pro unlock is sold through Apple’s App Store / StoreKit. Purchase status is provided by Apple. We never see your Apple ID password or payment card number.
Network access is used for in-app purchase, restore, and when you open this privacy page or the support page. Calculating and saving shifts work offline.
Third parties
The only third party involved in these flows is Apple (App Store and StoreKit). Their handling of data is governed by Apple’s policies. Opening this site uses whatever host serves these pages (currently Netlify).
Children
House Tip Sheet is a general workplace calculator (age rating 4+). It is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
- Delete saved shifts or house rules in the app at any time.
- Restore purchases with the same Apple ID that bought Pro.
- Uninstalling the app removes local data on that iPhone.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
